Kenichi Ebina, a multiple-style dance performer, started out dancing freestyle hip-hop and expanded his style to poppin’, lockin’, mime, house, jazz, contemporary, and ethnic dance. Kenichi Ebina is a solo self-taught dance performer, started out dancing Freestyle HipHop and expanding his style to Poppin’, Lockin’, Mime, House, Jazz, Contemporary and Ethnic dance. Kenichi’s unique dance show with illusion effects of sound, light and visual entertains a lot of people who are not even interested in performing arts. Kenichi has been performing at many events, TV shows and teaching in USA, Europe and Japan. Kenichi also has performed, directed and choreographed for many projects and dance and theater companies. In 2001, Kenichi founded a dance group with all Japanese dancers, BiTriP (Bi-Triangle Performance).  BiTriP won for the 1st place in the final grand championship of “Amateur Night” which occurs every Wednesday at the world famous Apollo Theater in 2001. BiTriP is the first and still only Japanese grand champion performer. In 2007, Kenichi is appearing on “Showtime at the Apollo” as a solo performer and became the grand champion of 2006-2007 season after winning 7 times. Kenichi is the first and only two-time grand champion in the Apollo theater history.
