Nobody knows the music that accompanies the flicker of the film projector better than Oscar and three-time Emmy winner Bill Conti. He has composed cinematic scores to match some of Hollywood's biggest roles--James Bond as he takes on the KGB, Rocky Balboa as he sprints up steps in Philadelphia, and America's first astronauts as they reach for the moon--and served as Music Director of the Academy Award ceremonies more than a dozen times. In And the Winner Is…, the composer turns conductor for a Pops performance of music from the year's Academy Award favorites. It's one big Oscar party where everyone goes home a winner. Program:
