Celtic CafT: Karen Ashbrook, Paul Oorts & FriendsKaren Ashbrook is considered one of the finest Irish hammered dulcimer players performing today. She also plays the wooden flute and the pennywhistle. She has a widely acclaimed instruction book and CD set for playing Irish music on the hammered dulcimer, and numerous recordings as both a solo artist and with the group Ceoltoiri.Paul Oorts, a native Belgian, performs on classical and steel string guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, banjo and musette accordion. He is also a French professor at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore.
