CETA Partnership Schools

Schools in the CETA program are partners with the Kennedy Center. Schools have joined the program in 1999, 2002, and 2005.
1999
In 1999, the Kennedy Center began its partnership with five local schools to develop the program “Changing Education Through the Arts” (CETA). The program was conceived as a result of a planning grant from the NEA Foundation for the Improvement of Education. The focus of the grant was to partner the Kennedy Center with the schools in order to develop the program’s mission statement and goals, engage in long-range and short-term planning, and agree on an evaluation plan.
