Spend the evening with the NSO as they perform a diverse collection of works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven. The New York Times calls Peter Oundjian, who recently became Music Director of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, "a musically gifted conductor." Young American cellist Alisa Weilerstein, a rising star in the classical music world, has won unanimous praise for her natural virtuosity and impassioned musicianship. Program:
