The three-time Grammy(r) winner's early gospel playing and classical training continue to inform his performance style today. Forty years since his first classic hit--the chart-topping "The In Crowd"--Ramsey and his latest trio have released their new CD Time Flies. Praising the recording, Quincy Jones says, "Ramsey has gone back to his roots…he has tapped into a new vein of inspiration. It is his best playing in years."
