Assistive Listening Devices Infrared assistive listening devices are available in all theaters and at all performances at the Kennedy Center. Headsets may be used with or without a hearing aid and are distributed free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons attending performances at the Eisenhower Theater or Opera House may pick up headsets at the desk in the Hall of States near the Grand Foyer, and the Concert Hall from the Coatroom in the Hall of Nations. Patrons attending events at the Family Theater, Terrace Theater, Theater Lab, Terrace Gallery, or Millennium Stage should ask an usher at the front of the house. Locate on map |

Sign Language Interpretation Sign language interpretation is scheduled for select performances and events at the Center throughout the year. Check the descriptions of individual engagements for the dates and times of these performances, or search our calendar for a complete list of sign interpreted performances . Sign language interpretation, cued-speech transliteration, or oral interpretation are available upon request with at least two weeks notice for non-scheduled events, and will be provided based on the availability of a qualified interpreter or transliteration, availability of appropriate tickets and seating, and at the discretion of the management. Parking Parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available in the Kennedy Center Garage for vehicles bearing valid DMV handicapped parking stickers or license plates on a first-come, first-served basis for vehicles with a clearance of less than 6 feet. Please ask the garage personnel to direct you to these parking spaces. For information on van-accessible spaces, call the Kennedy Center Garage at (202) 416-7980, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. |
